Congratulations on your pregnancy! This is an exciting time in your life, and we are happy that you have chosen Marion Women’s Health Center to care for you and guide you through the next 40 weeks. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing you quality information and care to help make you comfortable and at ease during your pregnancy.
Included in this section is a welcome packet with forms you can fill out and bring with you to your first appointment. In addition, articles posted here are for your reference and include subjects you may find helpful as you progress through your pregnancy. Please be sure to visit the Billing and Insurance section for information on coverage, payment schedules and options. On the Office page, you will find guidelines on appointments, prescriptions and on-call services.
What to Expect at Your First Appointment
At your initial visit, you will have a complete physical examination, including a pelvic exam. A detailed personal and family medical history also will be taken at that time. Completing the papers from the Welcome Packet prior to your visit will help our staff gather all of the necessary information.
At each visit, including your initial one, we request that you bring your First Morning urine specimen. Please keep it refrigerated until your appointment.We look forward to your first visit at Marion Women's Health Center! |
